Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade components also have special visual effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or used to repair equipment, or obtained as rewards in game.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions can be used with any kind of equipment. They also offer lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements can be used on some back equipment that is ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed into gathering tools, and enchantments. item upgrading can be removed and reinserted.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to look up and insert these unique characters along with normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives a character boost in primary stats. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses are applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item. You are only able to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll get. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your game, which is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses when certain conditions are satisfied and therefore are worth checking out for too.
Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by choosing an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you create a brand new account to give yourself more opportunities to access the character or weapon you are interested in. It can aid in your progress to higher levels or to gain more loot, for example, the best weapon for your current character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like, regardless of their power. It could be that they like the style or the personality of the character.
You should ensure that you make a clean change when you reroll. This means that you must verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development test. Upload the patch with a plain difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can be weeks or days long, depending on how lucky you are. During this time, it is recommended to avoid enemy camps that are optional to save time. In addition you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This will save time and energy.
When rerolling, it is important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance as well as power. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't a mandatory aspect of the game, but it can be helpful to increase the chances of winning a specific character or weapon. It is a great option in the case of trying to find the best character in the game or if you want to test different play styles and builds.
Sets
A set is a group of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a class). Sets allow for operations like union, intersection, and difference.
If you upgrade a set item, it becomes an upgraded version that is better than the previous one. For armor and weapons this means that it gets a higher base defense value and less strength requirements and a lower requirement for level.
Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items into level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are candidates for upgradation. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff are already exceptional and elite in their own right and do not require any upgrades. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may benefit from an upgrade to boost their stats. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
