WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are items and enchantments that can be put on weapons and armor pieces, increasing their stats. These upgrade item s add a number of points to the level gauge for the item, with their costs increasing with their popularity.
The melee PvP scene is extremely reliant on the perfect roll of armor due to its ability reduce weapon damage.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are a crucial part of the equipment crafting process. Upgrades can be used to improve an item's stats or make it stronger or give it an added benefit. They can also alter the item's appearance. Some upgrades are universal, whereas others are governed by specific rules for weapons and armor. The wrong upgrade can ruin the weapon that was previously fantastic, and even make it unusable.
As a rule, you can only upgrade an item of equipment to the level of its most advanced counterpart. You are able to upgrade helms only to the highest level. Weapons, on the other hand, can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage and can reduce its trade value.
To upgrade an item, you need to spend flightstones and crests. The amount you pay for each depends on the item's level and slot. For example upgrading to a sword will cost more flightstones than upgrading a cloak or bracers. You can also receive discounts on the number flightstones or crests required to upgrade an item.
The diamond-shaped indicator on an item gets filled when it is upgraded. Each step raises Tier level by one-third. The maximum Tier level is Tier 3. It may take different upgrades to reach this level, based on the item. It is essential to keep in mind that any procedure that may mount a disk should not be performed while upgrading. It is also important to make sure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as an system drive.
Enchantment is a feature which allows you to transform white or Common items into blue or rare ones. It is possible to do this at Eleanor's enchantment shop located in the Capital District. This method does not add gem or rune slots to the equipment but it does change the size of the equipment. It increases the equipment's size by two categories smaller. For instance an example, an armored Stormtrooper armor is Medium and a Blaster Pistol Small.

Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades which can be applied to any kind of equipment. This includes armor, weapons and trinkets. Upgrade components can be obtained through Side Quests or random drops. Universal upgrades can be permanent or temporary and can also be combined with Power-Ups. They may be linear or branching.
The Universal Upgrade is when "internal technologies" can give sentient animals new capabilities that they could not develop naturally. Examples of internal technology include prostheses or implants. This type of improvement is not the same as medical internal technology which seeks to restore natural capabilities. Rather, it represents the beginning of an upgrade process that changes civilizations in a fundamental way. The universal upgrade is a complex process that can take a long time to complete. However the process is divided into two distinct classes: full success and partial failure.
This is similar to the manner that resort upgrades are carried out at Disney or Universal. In the case WDW, this is usually due to operational requirements like availability of rooms or the overbooking of rooms. In the case of Universal this could mean to transfer guests from one resort to another that is open. This is not intended to be an insult, but in the current climate it might be impossible to avoid.
Universal upgrades can be applied on any type of gear. They can also be applied to a variety of items at the same time. This makes them more flexible than other types of upgrade. This can be a problem when upgrading items along a specific gear path. It can increase the levels of each of the items on that route.
Before you upgrade, it's important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the existing application files. Then you can install new files using the GetChildItemRecurse command or Unblock-File. It is also recommended to perform a basic validation against your PSU server to ensure that it works correctly.
Jewels
Jewels can be added to armor, weapons or other items. They give varying stat bonuses and other effects based on the gem and reagent used to make them. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions as well as V Blood Carriers and other regular enemies, or can be bought by a Master Craftsman gold or karma. Jewels can also be made on a jewelry table with one gem and five of the same type of reagent to create a jewel of greater or lesser tier; this process is identical to upgrading a gem using a table for gem crafting.
Jewel tiers are based on the number of modifiers they possess which means that higher-tier jewels have more modifiers than lower-tier ones. The primary effect is determined by the jewel's tier, while the secondary effect is random. The players can use luck potions to increase their chances of receiving better secondary effects.
Like other upgrade components jewels can be put into an item using an appropriate socket to increase the. For instance, a Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both provide a bonus to strength, but the Garnet Pebble is only able to increase regular hits while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's strong attacks. Jewels can be placed in all armor, weapon and accessory slots. They also work with exotic trinkets or trinkets of lower rarity that require slots.
As with other DM mechanics, gems aid to ensure that items are special to their owners. Jewels come with a variety of upgrade paths that let players customize and find the perfect combination for them. They can also upgrade their existing gear with new jewels if the original set of a particular type is no longer optimal.
Requirements
The WoW item upgrade system allows players to increase the level of their weapons, equipment and trinkets above their current level using specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor resources. These upgrades boost the stats of the base item, and some even have special effects (such as Dolphin's Grace which gives players dolphin-like grace when they swim). Players can obtain these upgrades through any upgrader NPC or by rescuing the items that contain them, with various types of items dropping different upgrade components.
The process of upgrading can be somewhat complicated, but it's simple. The player chooses the item he wishes to upgrade, and then clicks on the Upgrade button. A window will open with the different upgrades available for this item. This window will display the upgrade level, any type of upgrade bonus (such as Tech Points or Quality Chance), and the cost of the upgrade. The upgrade type bonus will be shown below the bar which shows the upgrade level.
The player will need bring the item to the upgrader, who will explain how to upgrade the item. The player then has to provide the correct currency for that upgrade, and may be asked to supply additional materials if necessary. These requirements are determined by the item's level. Weapons have more stringent requirements as compared to armor.
Many upgrade recipes come with an acceptable material list as well as the components required. This list contains the other components of an upgrade that can be used to upgrade an item. It also includes an indicator that tells you whether or not it is a guarantee of a boost. This is important as the value of an upgrade may differ greatly based on its 'extras.' For example, perfectly rolled gear can be worth more than the non-upgraded version.
For upgrades that require crests and valorstones, they will be listed in a separate listing below the main list. The number of crests and the valorstones required will depend on the level of the item. Upgrades to weapons require the most Valorstones.
